One could say Dr. Gail Weingast’s career journey began in 1969, but that may or may not be accurate. It’s hard to claim that an illustrious career as a medical professional for 40 years actually started when she attended Jackson College at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts and came out of there with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. More accurately, her 40-year career in medicine came a few years after, when she attended the Boston University School of Medicine and earned the right to be called Dr. Gail Weingast, MD. That happened in 1976.
After medical school she really got into her medical career, as Dr. Gail Weingast finished several internships, residencies and fellowships at Colorado General Hospital in Denver between 1977 and 1983. Those included a two year pediatrics internship, a two year pediatrics residency, a three-year residency radiology and a fellowship in the field of ultrasound. Dr. Gail Weingast then completed her post-graduate studies as a radiologist from 1983 to 1984 at St. Anthony’s Hospital, which is also located in Denver.
